I recently bought a house that had a fantastic layout but needed a full renovation. It had been lovingly cared for by the family that had lived there since it was built in the 50s. Among the decor was an amazing, classic 1970s brown bathroom suite, fully tiled with brown patterned vintage tiles. It was jaw-dropping to look at and would have been quite the thing in the day but I decided that it has to go unfortunately to make way for a more modern suite.
Now I am a big fan of reusing and recycling things so ideally I don’t want this to just go down to the skip. I am currently selling some of the tiles that have come off the wall in one piece on eBay in batches of 6 (comment or message me if you are interested in any). I feel like there may be someone who wants the vintage look and this would be just the thing. Decor from the 1970s seems to be coming back into fashion so maybe it would suit someone who likes the retro look.
I’m in the process of getting the new bathroom booked in to be installed so it will be a couple of months (probably early 2026) before this bathroom is taken out.
I am offering the whole suite which consists of the bath (1700 x 750mm), the basin and pedestal (600mm wide approximately), the toilet and also the soap holder (seen in the picture above the bath), the toilet roll holder and the towel ring (unfortunately this has a small chip from when I took it out but I think this could be disguised/repaired
I’m asking for £100 for the lot or free if you are happy to come and take it all out yourself (when I have my new bathroom booked in).
Here are a couple more pictures of the seventies brown bathroom!
I have to say the bath is really comfy to relax in and I was almost tempted to keep it due to that!

It’s a good sized basin with 2 tap holes.
