Bad Students Roblox

How Do You Play Bad Students in Roblox?

As an older Roblox player (I play with my son) I often find it difficult to know what to do in certain Roblox games so I thought I would try to explain what I have learn about playing Bad Students on Roblox. It’s suitable for age 5+ so good for most children.

The main idea is that you are a student in a school and you have to earn  dollars and skill points while attending various lessons.

The timer at the top of the screen tells you which lesson you need to be in or whether it is break time, lunch time or school’s out. When the timer comes up for a lesson, you need to get to that lesson before the red alarm bell appears next to it otherwise you can get detention from the monitors. This is usually with 1 minute left of the lesson. You can still get in the lesson after this but you just have to avoid the monitors.

Detention

This usually lasts 49 seconds (unless you have paid for a shorter detention with Robux). IN this time you can do a quiz to earn skills points and at the end of the time you get kicked out to the main hall. If you get kicked out and there is some time left in a lesson then you won’t get sent to detention again for that period.

Lessons

There are the following lessons in the school that you can attend:

  • Geography
  • History
  • Art
  • Maths
  • PE (Basketball)
  • PE (Soccer)

The lessons last 1m30s and if you stay for the lesson you earn 7 points a couple of times during the lessons. You can also do actions like sleeping, coughing, sending everyone to the bathroom etc during the lessons. Some actions are free and others cost money from what you have earned during the game.

Sometimes you get a quiz in the lessons with the most popular ones (which you also get in detention) being a maths quiz (quite easy) and a flags quiz (quite hard!). There are also sometimes quizzes in geography and history and in art class you can create your own painting.

My son and I compete on who can get the most points in art but I have never been able to get more than 3 out of 10 although he has got 4 out of 10. If anyone gets more than this please let me know how!

Earning Dollars

There are a number of ways to earn dollars in the game as follows:

  • You can collect $400 from the chest in the safe zone every 12 hours
  • You can collect coins that are dotted around the town surrounding the school
  • You can beat people up (use the fist symbol that appears with the skateboard at the bottom of the screen) and if they are main players you will get 1% of their earnings that they have at that point
  • You can pickpocket some of the walkers around town
Spending Dollars

You can spend dollars either at the shop in the safe zone or in class. Some things you can buy in the shop include a speed coil or a gravity coil as well as banana skins, pizza etc. However, these items are only temporary and you lose them if you are knocked out. You can buy permanent options of these in the VIP shop with Robux.

You can also spend dollars in class on actions, e.g. shouting 67 or sending everyone to the toilet!

Bad students carsYou can also spend your dollars on a car. If you go to the desk at the car showroom then you can see what options are available to buy. The cars cost from $1,200 to $78,000 so you can save up for one by earning dollars. You can spawn your car in various places and drive it around the town.

Earning and Spending Skills Points

You earn skills points by taking part in lessons. Skills points are the key to getting around the area faster and being able to jump high and punch harder. If you click on the skills options then there are 9 skills that you can upgrade (scroll down when you first see them):

  • Speed
  • Skateboard speed
  • Height
  • Jump
  • Punch Range
  • Punch speed
  • Punch damage
  • Health Regen
  • Health

The speed allows you to get away quicker or get to class quicker if you are late. The Height and jump settings are really useful to get coins in high places if you don’t want to use dollars to buy a jump coil. You can get on a lot of roofs with maximum jump capability to get the high up coins.

The punch options mean that you can knock people out without them knocking you out first, if you punch quickly.

When you do get punched you lose health points until you are knocked out, so more health capacity allows you to last for longer and recover more quickly.

It takes quite a lot of time in lessons to accumulate enough skills points to get the maximum on all these settings.

Knocking People Out

You can knock people out using the fist symbol but if you have that activated in the school then the monitors can send you to detention at any time (normally it is just if you are late to class) so be careful!

You can also knock out the bullies in the town who hang around in various places (if they don’t  get you first!) and you will get a few hundred dollars for each on you knock out, They often hang out near the bus stops, in the car park or in the skate park.

Spending Robux

As with all games you can use actual money to buy Robux and spend that on things in the game. In this game you can buy permanent speed and gravity coils, you can become a monitor or a teacher and also do a number of other things. However, you can just play the game without spending real money and the longer you play it for the more skills you get.

Summary

It’s generally a great fun, easy game to play with different actions and focus – sometimes I aim to get to all the classes to get more skills points and other times I just skate around the town collecting coins. I play with my son which can be fun but also annoying as he has more skills than me so often knocks me out and takes my money!

I’m sure there are other things in the game that I haven’t mentioned so feel free to comment below or ask questions if I have missed anything and might be able to answer.
